Castle Retail Logo

The Castle retail signature is composed of three separate elements:
  1. The background, or “Shield”
  2. The ‘Castle’ name
  3. The ‘Maple Leaf’ representing that we are proudly Canadian
  4. The words ‘building centres’ in lowercase letters

The three elements are always to be used together, on all Castle communications. The elements must never be separated or displayed alone.

The registered trademark symbol ® is required when using the logo. The placement of the ® is to be located consistently to the bottom right of “s” in the word “centres” and sits outside the border of the shield.

Please ensure that there is a minimum of 1/4X clear space maintained around the logo, where X is the height of the symbol. Leaving more clear space than this is also acceptable. Always leave at least this distance between the logo and the edge of the page, sign, envelope or any other where medium where it appears.

NOTE: The registered trademark symbol ® is not included in the measuring of clear space.

Regardless of the manner in which the logo is reproduced, the Castle Building Centres corporate signature must maintain its legibility and integrity. When reproducing the logo in print, broadcast, web or embroidered applications, ensure minimum size standards are not compromised.

For web applications, the minimum size for use of the logo is 53 pixels in height.

The Castle Building Centres logo has been carefully crafted and considered for adaptation across a broad range of applications. Its creation was a significant investment and its proper use in the marketplace builds important goodwill.

It is the primary way of identifying who we are. As such, it should be used as per the direction of the Style Guide and must be applied consistently from application to application.
